Where do you currently live?
Originally I’m from Pittsburgh PA, but I’m Living in London now.
What methods and techniques do you use when you create your posters?
Its all a bit of a mash up I’ll make images on my computer print them out then draw over top of them then scan it all back in and start the whole process over again. I typically go through 3 or 4 rounds of that before I run out of time and have to print. As far as physically making the posters I always silkscreen everything myself by hand.
Whilst you work what are you normally listening to?
While I’m designing stuff I always listen to the band I’m doing the work for. Apart from that I’m essentially a classic rock kind of guy, maybe the heavier stoner-y-er side of classic rock.
If you could design a poster for a person or band of your choice, who would it be?
BLACK SABBATH
Who or what is your creative influence?
I like faces a lot, animals, I love all the old psychedelic 60’s poster art. I’m sure my record collection has influenced my artwork quite a bit. But I imagine the thing that has had the most influence on me is silkscreen process itself, every thing I do looks a lot different since I learned to print.
